HYP has been blessed with some of the most dedicated and gifted leaders. None of what happens with HYP could happen without them. Get to know a little about them below, and then get to know them alot when you come visit!
Justin Davis – Youth Director
I’m 31… yikes! You’d never know it! I love teens and could never consider what I do a job. As a young student growing up under the leadership of several great youth ministers, I know the importance and impact youth ministry has on teens. I didn’t always love God. I got into trouble and even served some time, but through it all God’s never ceasing love succeded in reaching out, drawing me to Himself, and rescuing me from my sin.
I have a beautiful wife and helpmate: Liz, two sons: Alex and Abel, and an adorable daughter: Jonah Grace. Add the 200 plus students that make up HYP and you could say I have a large family! I spend my time running with kids constantly. When I do get a break I have practice and performances with my band Dance to the Music. I also travel for my evangelistic ministry Prodigal Thief Ministries. Its this whole dramatic reenactment of my past coupled with my testimony of God’s amazing forgivness and restoration. I’m also a college student focusing on religion with plans to attend Erskin for seminary. Wow, I just realized how very tired I am! God is good.

Kyle Browning- Support Staff
I’m 29 years old and have been working with HYP for the past 5 years. I’m passionate about working with youth because I understand the importance of having a positive mentor at such an impressionable time in life. I also know first hand how God can use a mentor to steer and guide us towards Himself. I teach Senior High Sunday School, as well as being actively involved in Wednesday night HYP. I’m married with a 4 year old daughter, both of which love being around HYP as much as I do! I graduated from Mauldin High School and attended Clemson University. I grew up in the Golden Strip area and love calling it home.

Lansing Vaughan- Support Staff
I’m a 22 year old coffee-drinking shopaholic. I love chocolate, dance parties, am certified to drive a fork lift, and there is no where I would rather be on a Wednesday night than at HYP. I attended Mauldin High School and recently graduated from Clemson University with a degree in business marketing. Greenville has always been my home, but I like to think of New York City as my home away from home. I spent a summer there working as an intern for Ralph Lauren and fell in love with it. I would love to go back at some point and pursue a career in fashion, as long as everyone promises to visit often. I’m the oldest sister to three younger brothers, despite my countless prayers as a little girl for at least one sister. I am now very thankful for my wonderful brothers AND I feel like I have a ton of little sisters because I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to work with all the amazing girls at HYP! God has definitely put middle and high school girls on my heart; I understand the importance of leadership and accountability during this particularly impressionable time in their lives. I lead a high school girl’s small group on Monday nights in addition to helping out on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights.
